Expressions of Love and Praise

Expressions of Love & Praise is the monthly worship service sponsored by Friendship Community. Typically held on the 1^st Friday evening of each month at the Hempfield Church of the Brethren, the intent of Expressions of Love and Praise is to offer an opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate fully in worship. Opportunities are given to include those with disabilities by using their gifts to lead singing and prayers, serve as greeters and ushers, offer skits or other creative presentations to convey Biblical truths, and offer testimonies, praises and prayer requests. The format also includes a combination of litanies and spontaneous involvement to offer to all an opportunity to be involved in praise to God.
