 Golf classic to benefit Friendship Community took place on September 4, 2008. Thank you to the 132 golfers, numerous volunteers, and dozens of sponsors who made the eighth annual event a success!First, second and third place winners for overall score are pictured above! They are as follows: 1st place with a score of 58 - John Schlegel, Paul Lundberg, Len Schott, George Kapp; 2nd place with a score of 58 - Terry Leatherman, Jim Arnold, Jonathan Hollinger; 3rd place with a score of 60 - Don Snyder, Dale Fegely, Sam Breidenstine, Dennis Dieffenbach Closest to the Pin – Doug Moser Registration: Brochure will be mailed in June of 2009. Date: Thursday, September 3, 2009 Times: Registration opens at 7:30 AM, Shotgun start at 8:00 AM, Lunch at 1:00 pm. Place: Lebanon Valley Golf Course in Myerstown, PA Details: Scramble Format. Golf Participant Ticket is $65 and includes: greens fee, golf cart, snacks and chicken BBQ lunch. There is a limit of 132 golfers- so get your reservations in early! Ways to Participate Tournament Underwriter- $5,000* Greens Underwriter- $3,000* Dinner Underwriter- $2,000* Snack Cart Underwriter- $1,000* * All Underwriters will have special signs describing their sponsorship levels, will have the opportunity to hang their banners or have their displays at the registration and can have complimentary golf tickets. Signs identifying the company will be on their team's golf carts. $500 Helping Hands Sponsor includes: A team sponsorship including greens fees, carts and lunches for a foursome, a hole sponsorship sign and listing in the program. $150 Sponsor includes: a tee or hole sponsorship sign and listing in the program. $65 Golf Participant includes: greens fee, golf cart and lunch for one golfer. IMPORTANT WEATHER INFORMATION: The Golf Tournament is a rain or shine event. If the tournament should be canceled by the Lebanon Valley Golf Course due to unplayable conditions, your fee will be considered a donation to Friendship Ministries. However, the Chicken BBQ dinner will still be served at 1:00 p.m. in the Pavilion. The gifts and prizes will be given away as door prizes during the meal.
