ARTIST OF THE MONTH Bill Becker is the feature heART of Friendship ART Gallery artist for the month of May.  Becker enjoys life and creatively expressing it. His passions include horseback riding and astronomy.  Through Becker’s work, he has made tributes to some of the “old world masters”.  Among these are the ‘Mona Lisa’, for which he has great respect, and one of Monet’s ‘Water Lilies’’ series.  Becker has also worked on collaborative works of art with his studio mates.  He has a wonderful sense of humor and often creates a fun atmosphere with his wit and contagious smile.  Becker always gives his best to his projects and has been able to express himself through a variety of media and subject matter.  His collage ‘Out of this World” is pure fun.  Becker’s ‘Faith, Hope and Love’ paintings are a breath of spring.  The public is invited to the heART of Friendship ART Gallery located at 39 East Main Street in Ephrata where Becker’s original works are featured.  Proceeds from art sales benefit the artist and the heART of Friendship ART Gallery. Gallery hours are as follows:   Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10-8 pm and Saturday 10-1 pm.  The heART of Friendship ART Gallery was established in 2007 by Friendship Community.  Since its inception, the heART of Friendship has participated in numerous juried art shows, galleries and open houses.  For more information, visit The heART of Friendship ART Gallery at www.FriendshipArt.net or call (717) 733-0184.
