Finance Associate
Entry-level associate needed to support the Finance Department with various tasks and projects. A successful candidate must have a strong, proficient understanding of Excel and computer skills. Applicant must be able to multi-task, prioritize, have strong attention to detail and manage multiple projects concurrently.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Accountable to the Chief Financial Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Responsibilities:
1. Complete mid-month and end-of-month billing and Invoices for all programs and Individuals within the organization
2.Collaborate with Support Coordinators for billing purposes
3.Complete PROMISE Revalidation applications
4.Compute monthly occupancy calculations
5.Manage accuracy and completion of Individuals’ attendance folders (red folders)
6.Create money management systems and train Program Manager’s regarding implementation process
7.Continue to enhance and streamline the billing process to maximize revenue
8.Work with Operations to create new sites within the organization
in HCSIS and PROMISE as needed
9.Other duties and projects as assigned by the Director of Finance
- Share responsibilities for:
- Entering monthly income analysis data into internal spreadsheet for tracking and comparison purposes.
- Completing Social Security Reports as received.
- Completing Medical Assistance Forms as received.
- Coordinating and collect information for Individuals’ yearly tax returns.
- Completing DHS deposit validations as needed.
- Running monthly reports of financial results for homes and programs within the organization.
- Calculating and input monthly dashboard statistics for all programs within the organization.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Maintain a schedule of day time office hours with flexibility to be available for occasional evening meetings. This position works 40 hours per week and overtime as approved.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance or a minimum 2 years’ experience in a billing, bookkeeping, or accounting role.
