on May 10th-11th as we celebrate Friendship Community’s 31st Annual FEST & 5K • 10K. We are kicking off the festivities on Friday, May 10th where we will be hosting our 44th Annual Talent Night. This free event is open to any and all who are interested in coming out and supporting our Individuals and the talents they have. Then, on Saturday May 11th join us for a day of exercise and entertainment as we continue the fun at our FEST & 5K • 10K. Events will happen at our Main Office located at 1149 E. Oregon Road. All proceeds benefit Adults with Intellectual Disability and Autism.

Friendship Community's 5K • 10K Run, Walk & Wheel for Capabilities

Thank you for supporting Individuals with Intellectual Disability and Autism through residential and day services!

Join us for our scenic 5K • 10K course suitable for runners, walkers, and wheelers of all ages. Gather your family, friends, co-workers and more and run for a great cause! Check-in/day of registration begins at 7am at the 2nd building at the large garage bay near Start/Finish line with the 5K • 10K starting at 8am.

The beautiful 5K • 10K course will start on Friendship Community's main campus at 1149 E. Oregon Road, Lititz. It will loop through Landis Homes property and finish back at the starting line. The route is off busy public roads - approximately 100 yards of the course is gravel with the remaining route being paved. The 10K participants will do the 5K course twice. CLICK HERE to view the entire course map. We also offer an alternate optional 1-mile paved course for walkers/wheelers. Immediately following the 5k, there will be an awards presentation and a free kids fun run (0.22mi) - new this year!!

Registration is open with an early-bird price of $40 per registrant for the 5K and $50 for the 10K until April 30th. Pricing then increases from May 1st through May 10th and is $45 per registrant for the 5K and $55 for the 10K with day-of registration on May 11th being $50 for the 5K and $60 for the 10K. Registrations received by April 12th will be guaranteed a free 5K • 10K t-shirt. Registrations from April 13th through May 11th will be given a 5K • 10K t-shirt while supplies last so register early! We are offering Family or Group Discount prices this year!!

Virtual Participation is available again this year! With the same price structure as In-Person Race above, add $5 if you want a t-shirt mailed. Virtual run on your own includes goodie bag and t-shirt (t-shirt availability according to registration dates listen above).

We are again offering pre-race Packet Pickup. Visit Friendship Community's Main Office, 1149 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, to pick up your race bib and "goodie bag" ahead of time during the dates listed below to lessen the crowding at registration on Saturday! This pick-up is available for virtual participants who didn't request items to be mailed, and as an optional convenience to also help with crowding on Saturday morning.

5/10/24 Fri. 8:00am-6:00pm [Note: by or before 4pm Fri, packet pickup will move from the main office (1st building) to the 2nd building to the large garage bay near Start/Finish line]

Packets for virtual participants who registered before May 8th and opted for their packet to be mailed, will go out in the mail on or before Wednesday May 8th. Packets for virtual participants who registered after May 8th and opted for their packet to be mailed will go into the mail at earliest opportunity.

We will have Cash prizes for the top three overall finishers for both the 5K and 10K: $75, $50, $25 (Male and Female). Medals will be awarded to top three Male & Females in the following age groups : 14 & Under 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Awards are only for in-person participants and will be given for both the 5K and 10K.
